General Info:
Trial By Fire is, as you may have guessed, a Quake III Arena mod. But, it's not just a mod...It's the one of the best damn mods out there! It's not a tactical, team-based, realistic, military mod, and it's not a Dragonball Z mod.

Remember the opening cinema to Quake III Arena? Sarge is mowing down hordes of grunts. He's dodging rockets and taking cover behind a support column, while the rockets blast chunks out of his shield. He's stranded and weaponless. What does he do? The only thing a bad-ass can do: dive head first into the crowd of gun-toting warriors.

Trial By Fire is inspired by that opening cinema.. You are cast as the commando, who is basically god-like, unless the server admin takes away some of his powers. The commando gets special powerups and abilities. Everyone else is on the Death Squad. What do they do? Simple: They all try to kill you.

There is also a Free-For-All mode for maximum chaos.

Much of the game, including scoring, is customizable, so you will be able to play with the options and see what you like.
